“Most divers are overweighted and out of trim. They fin constantly just to stay off the bottom. This course fixes that.”

Skills covered:

  1. Proper weighting– The “head-up, knees-down” test to find your exact weight needs
  2. Trim adjustment– Moving weight to achieve horizontal swimming (less drag, less air use)
  3. Fine buoyancy control– Tiny, precise BCD inflation and deflation (not the “stab and jab” method)
  4. Hovering– Remaining motionless at any depth without touching the bottom or shooting to the surface
  5. Propulsion techniques– Modified frog kick, helicopter turn (no silt storms)
