Prerequisite: None – just a desire to help others

Minimum Age: None – any age welcome

Certification Earned: EFR Primary & Secondary Care (valid 24 months)

Duration: 1 day (approx. 4–8 hours depending on independent study)

Format: eLearning + hands-on skills practice with instructor

The course is divided into two main components:

Primary Care (CPR)

  • Scene safety assessment
  • Primary patient assessment
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Choking response
  • Serious bleeding management
  • Shock management
  • Spinal injury management

Secondary Care (First Aid)

  • Injury and illness assessment
  • Bandaging and splinting
  • Burns care
  • Bites and stings
  • Temperature-related injuries
